A Kuwaiti man has divorced his bride just one day into their marriage after he failed to fulfill his husbandry duties on their wedding night - and she had the audacity to try to help him along.

Man dead after chopping tongue as sacrifice to gods

An Indian father-of-two bled to death after cutting out his own tongue as a sacrifice to a Hindu goddess. Deepak Kol, 28, collapsed minutes after using a knife to chop off the vital organ during the holy festival of Navratri. But instead of taking him to the hospital, Deepak's desperate family and festival worshippers tried to 'resurrect' him by singing hymns and praying.

'We kept praying until 4am in the morning, hoping that Devi [Hindu goddess] would instil life in my son's body,' his father Sukhdeo, a farmer, told MailOnline. 'When that did not happen, I knew that the Goddess has given Deepak a place in her lotus feet.' Pastor preaches from inside coffin in South Africa

A pastor in South Africa has abandoned the pulpit for a coffin, literally. According to church member and former drug dealer, 28 year old Aphiwe Nqevu 'brought the coffin to illustrate to people who fail to embrace Jesus as the son of God that they will go to hell and face eternal death.

They said they use coffin to 'urge people to embrace God because once death occurs, it is too late to decide'. People in the area protested, saying it was scaring children and it was disrespectful.
